JEANNETTE, Pa. -- A vacant home was intentionally set on fire Thursday night, one of more than a dozen suspected arsons reported in Jeannette since October.

Firefighters said the blaze started in the kitchen of the vacant home on Division Street. The same home was targeted last week.

Police said they have questioned a person of interest in an arson that was reported Sunday at an occupied house.

Investigators said someone torched a couch under the back porch of a home on North Third Street. Firefighters said the flames then spread to the house with two teenage boys inside.

The teens were able to escape unharmed.

According to Channel 11 News exchange partners at TribLIVE, neighbors reported that they seen the person in the area at the same time as the fire.

The fire caused $12,000 in damage.
